Academic Institutions overview

Galileo Global Education’s school network caters to more than 100,000 students each year. While our offer is focused on creative industries, our network also includes top-notch programs in business and management as well as medicine.

All our schools offer excellent job-placement outcomes for graduates, thanks not only to the strength of the curricula but also to an extensive network of well-placed alumni.

France is the country where we currently have the broadest footprint. We are particularly strong in the creative sector, with schools like Atelier Chardon Savard (fashion design, accessories and styling), Cours Florent (drama, performing arts, art cinema), Atelier de Sèvres (fine art, animation), Penninghen (graphic design) and CIFAP (performing arts, TV and radio, creative industries and journalism). In design, Strate has a prominent position whilst LISAA excels in animation design and other fields in applied arts.

We also offer courses in new technologies, web design and multimedia, through – among others – La Web School (digital technologies, digital management, marketing, design), IESA Multimedia (art and digital technologies), Hetic (web technologies, digital creation and management) and CIFACOM (graphic and audiovisual design and art).

Our strengths include business and management studies. In this area we are present with excellences like the Paris School of Business (PSB), ISM, ESG and ESARC (management, business, communication and marketing).

We also offer programs specialized in art and culture management at IESA Art&Culture and communication and journalism courses at IICP.

In Italy, our second largest market in terms of the number of academic institutions in our network, we are represented very strongly in the fashion, arts and design fields through three top-rated Milan-based schools that attract students from more than 100 countries.

At Istituto Marangoni, students get one of the best fashion, design and art educations anywhere in the world. NABA, which recently joined Galileo Global Education, offers world-class education in fashion design, media design, exhibition design, interior design, product design, communication and visual design as well as courses in visual and digital art. Domus Academy, another recent acquisition, offers not only courses in design and fashion, but also business, architecture and experience (interaction design, service design, brand design and information design).

In Germany our focus is media, business, art and design. Through Macromedia University, we offer students a choice of business-focused degrees in media management and communication design as well as degrees in management. For students more interested in creative industries, hKDM is our excellence in art, design and – unique among higher education institutions – popular music.

Being a truly international educational group, we are also present in North America through Instituto de Estudios Universitarios (IEU), which is based in Mexico. At IEU’s campuses around the country, we offer courses in gastronomy as well as business courses in accounting and finance, industrial and administrative engineering, business creation and innovation, among others.

Finally, as of December of last year – thanks to an acquisition in Cyprus – we can also offer courses in medicine and dentistry. But not only: at the European University of Cyprus students can also follow degree programs in law, education sciences and business administration.
