Atelier de Sèvres is the leading art foundation school for admission to art schools in France and Europe
Since 1979, Atelier de Sèvres has been preparing students for the most competitive entrance exams in France and internationally for higher education art or animation schools. Thanks to the quality and investment of its teaching teams, the art and animation foundation courses at Atelier de Sèvres enable students to immerse themselves in an artistic environment, learn multiple techniques, develop their general knowledge and refine their academic path.
From Beaux-Arts de Paris to Gobelins via Arts Déco, La Cambre, Central Saint Martins in London and ECAL in Lausanne, Atelier de Sèvres obtains the best admissions results to the most prestigious schools, thanks to the commitment and professionalism of its teachers.
With more than 90 instructors and speakers—all of whom are graduates of prestigious art schools and are art professionals—and workshops offering the best and widest range of equipment, the quality of training is highly personalized.
A state-of-the-art art school in the fields of animation and the relationship between art and technology
Since 2016, Atelier de Sèvres has also offered an animation bachelor degree course for which places are awarded via an entrance exam. This is a three-year study programme for students who wish to become writer-directors in the field of contemporary creation, combining cinema, animation, writing, art and experimentation.
For 2020, Atelier de Sèvres is launching a new three-year degree course taught in English: the bachelor of art and technology. This new course questions the major changes and societal challenges brought about by digital technology, through the prism of artistic creation.
An international outlook
In 2020, Atelier de Sèvres is also launching a new art foundation course in English in order to best prepare students to successfully pass the entrance exams to major international art schools:
- Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Camberwell, Chelsea, LCC (UK)
- ECAL, Geneva University of Art and Design (Switzerland)
- Royal Academy of Art – The Hague, Gerrit Rietveld Academie (Netherlands)
- La Cambre, Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (Belgium)
As the only course of its kind in the world, this programme offers exceptional placement opportunities at the leading art schools worldwide.
