With some 80 professors and more than 2,300 students coming from over 80 different countries, Macromedia University is one of the largest private German universities for professionally-oriented courses in media management, communications design and business administration. The university teaches its students the skills required for the rapidly changing “4.0” work environment that is characterized by automation, big data, machine learning and other advanced technologies and trends.

Macromedia University offers five accredited bachelor’s and one master’s program, with several specializations, including: media and communication design, international management, fashion management, design thinking, brand management, marketing analytics and creative direction.  Students can also follow courses at one of the institute’s 18 foreign partner universities. Macromedia’s BA and MA programs are state-approved by the German Council of Science and Humanities and accredited by the FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation).

With the aim of helping its graduates find employment quickly Macromedia’s approach is not just theoretical: from the beginning, students take on practical projects in collaboration with renowned companies such as Adobe, Microsoft and Sky, developing crucial management skills to shape the digital future. Students also benefit from individual supervision ensuring the development of their social, creative and professional personalities together with the acquisition of theoretical knowledge.
