Founded in 1988 by Cyrille Chardon and Dominique Savard, Atelier Chardon Savard (ACS) is one of Paris’ most prestigious fashion and design schools. Set in a unique 19th century printing works building in the heart of the city’s Oberkampf neighborhood, the school’s principal aim is to teach creativity.
The core curriculum is comprised of four programs: fashion stylist, with a style and marketing or modeling option; fashion designer; fashion communication manager and fashion style consultant.
As part of their learning experience, students also carry out compulsory internships that develop their practical skills and industry knowledge. Internships grow in length and quality as students complete the various years in their program; in their final year – the “professionalization year” – they become the core focus.
Atelier Chardon Savard guides students, helping them imagine, build, and implement original professional projects and present their talents to the right audience.
The school is well placed to help its graduates find jobs in some of the most prestigious fashion companies, thanks to an extensive network of Creative Directors, Fashion Designers, Fashion Stylists and Partnering Institutions that includes professionals from Zadig & Voltaire, Zara, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Guy Laroche, Hermès, Burberry (London), Carven, Céline and Chanel, among others.
