Le delta, 20,000m² dedicated to multidisciplinarity in the heart of Paris.

December 18, 2025

On September 18, Galileo Global Education inaugurated a new 20,000-square-meter multidisciplinary campus welcoming 3,600 students in the heart of Paris’s 5th arrondissement, in the presence of numerous partners and distinguished guests.

Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, the Delta campus stands as an unprecedented model in the world of higher education. By reimagining an iconic historic site—the former AgroParisTech campus—it has become a unique place of convergence, where artistic creation, educational innovation, and academic excellence come together and enrich one another.

Spanning 20,000 square meters, the campus brings together six schools of excellence: Paris School of Business, Cours Florent, Atelier de Sèvres, IESA arts&culture, Penninghen, and Copernia. Their co-location goes far beyond symbolism. It establishes a deeply multidisciplinary educational ecosystem, designed to foster synergies across design, culture, management, performing arts, interior architecture, edtech, and animation.

The Delta campus was conceived through an approach still rare in higher education: a fully student-centered design. From spatial layout to services and amenities, every element was imagined by and for students. Inspired by design thinking methodologies, the campus offers an integrated living and learning environment, grounded in real uses and aligned with the aspirations of the 3,600 students who will bring it to life.

“The opening of the Delta campus marks a founding moment. In the heart of Paris, we have created a living place where disciplines meet and reinvent one another. This unique campus embodies our ambition to educate creative talents capable of addressing the challenges of tomorrow. Here, history fuels innovation and offers students an exceptional environment for growth and excellence.”

Multidisciplinarity at the Heart of the Delta Experience

A living ecosystem where disciplines meet, interact, and transform one another

The Delta Campus is far more than a place of study: it is a true learning ecosystem. Its uniqueness lies in the co-location of six schools of excellence, each with complementary areas of expertise and united by a shared ambition—to educate creative, open-minded profiles ready to engage with the transformations of the contemporary world.

By sharing everyday campus life, students—designers, artists, actors, entrepreneurs, architects, and technologists—continuously learn from one another. This diversity generates a unique dynamic, where informal encounters and spontaneous exchanges spark new ideas. The campus becomes a laboratory for collective creation, grounded in openness and dialogue across disciplines.

The Hybridization of Disciplines: A Driver of Employability

In a rapidly evolving world of work, the ability to collaborate with diverse profiles has become a critical skill. At the Delta Campus, interdisciplinarity is a core pedagogical pillar. Through joint projects and exposure to different methods and perspectives, students develop transversal competencies that are highly sought after in today’s job market.

Collaborative Projects, Cross-Pedagogies and Shared Experiences

Campus spaces were designed to encourage the circulation of ideas, and academic programs to stimulate collaboration between schools. Shared modules, cross-disciplinary workshops, and collective events—exhibitions, hackathons, forums, performances—strengthen this ecosystem.

The STEP platform, a digital tool accessible to all students, complements this approach by facilitating collaboration, project coordination, and progress tracking across disciplines.

Design Thinking: A Campus Designed Around Students

At Delta, student experience is at the core of every design decision.

Conceived according to design thinking principles, the campus was shaped by real student needs and uses. Over six months, more than 50 hours of interviews, field observations, and international benchmarking informed the creation of a living, fluid, and inspiring environment. The flow between spaces encourages spontaneous interaction, while curricula actively promote transversal projects across design, technology, arts, business, and performing arts.

A Campus Designed for Everyday Life

  • Multiformat dining: In partnership with Elior, the campus offers connected fridges (accessible via student card), microwaves, hot meals, a barista corner, and weekly food trucks—providing quality options for all budgets.
  • ISIC International Student Card: All students receive an ISIC card, granting access to campus facilities, local partner discounts, and benefits worldwide—strengthening ties between the campus, the neighborhood, and a global student network of 3,600 learners.
  • A connected campus: Full digital mapping via Evelity (accessible for people with reduced mobility and visual impairments), reduced physical signage, and screens. A dedicated in-house app allows students to manage schedules, grades, and space bookings.

Shared Spaces & Services

  • Two coworking cafés (530 m² and 70 m²)
  • Four auditoriums (100 to 190 seats)
  • A 1,700 m² landscaped garden
  • Two floors of workshops: Fab Lab, 3D printing, sewing, sound and image studios, reproduction facilities
  • Two rooftop libraries housing up to 40,000 books
  • A private reception area with lounge and panoramic terrace

Well-being & Student Life

Relaxation areas, cafés, arcade games, foosball tables, and informal workspaces encourage breaks and social interaction. A dedicated mental health space offers students a calm environment to pause, recharge, and reconnect.

The years of study are among the most formative periods of a lifetime. By placing the end user at the center of every decision, we set out to design not only a place for learning, but a true life experience.

The History of the Building and the Project

The Delta Campus is located on the historic Claude Bernard site, at the corner of Claude Bernard and Arbalète streets in Paris’s 5th arrondissement. For more than a century, this site has stood at the heart of scientific innovation. Its architectural coherence and exceptional documentary heritage bear witness to the evolution and excellence of French higher education since the late 19th century.

But who better than Stéphane Bern to reveal the secrets of this remarkable place…

- A green campus

- A historically modern campus

- A campus with a view to the future
